Hi Lisa,
Thank you so much for writing Black Swan Rising! I love the fully dimensional interesting female characters. It’s so timely. I’m in Calgary, Canada. We don’t have as many guns but we are battling the same white supremacy and patriarchy. You did an amazing job! I am an independently minded woman and travel addict so I love that you manage to weave that in. I liked how Sarah and Casey help each other. The first book I read of yours was ‘Rock Paper Tiger’. It was featured on a good reads book case at the Calgary Central Library, the cover caught my eye. It incorporated many of my favourite things: keen observations, the anti heroine and crazy adventures in foreign lands. I also happen to be a physiotherapist who works with chronic pain patients and I noticed that a both Casey and Ellie are on a journey of pain and healing. Your books would make great movies. How did you come up with these characters? 🙂 Kate
